Any Test Tips? 2 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I've got my test booked for next month (not telling what date!)
Any tips about how I can pass?
My instructor says he thinks I will do well.

Need to be positive. Can you perform All the driving and manoeuvring functions with confidence. If not then you're not ready. If you can then there is no reason why you shouldn't get the result your looking for. The DSA examiner will be looking to make sure you take decisions that keep you and the public safe. There is no tricks. Drive in the way you have been taught. Good luck

When my sister did her test, she said she just pretended her instructor was sat next to her, not an examiner!
(She passed)

Watch out for dustcarts hiding round a blind corner.
But really? Take corners slowly, ezpecially ones you can't see round well. Also, if you are going round a corner where there is two lanes, watch out for idiots behind you that WILL try to over take.

My main advice is to try not to worry about it. This will all get sorted out and you will pass. If you know there is something you find tricky make sure you practice that before the test. Make sure you are well rested the day of the test. Drink peppermint tea or eat a peppermint candy immediately before the test - peppermint helps us stay alert and focused. Mostly, remember that eventually everyone passes this test. It is sort of a rite of passage, and you will get through it. We are all rooting for you.
