Corsa or other? 2 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
The most popular car is currently
the Vauxhall Corsa because of its
suitability, reliability and low purchase
and running costs.

I had the misfortune to use a Corsa recently - it was heavy to drive; gearchange was like stirring concrete.
The fuel conumption on the diesel I used was an appalling 30mpg.
Rear visibility poor; front seats rocked and didn't feel stable.
It rattled like an old British Rail train and didn't give any hint of being only 6 month old!

Thankfully I am now back in my beloved Renault Clio diesel.

It is the best car I have ever used and I will have another, and recommend them to anyone!

I agree. I have used a Renault Clio for two years, it's cheap to insure, economic on fuel (diesel - 55mpg) and comfortable and easy to drive. My learners love it. I think it's cheaper to buy than the Corsa too, when you compare like-for-like features.

I teach in a corsa - I find them really easy to teach in BUT Im not sure about the new style personally I find the back windows too small hence making it difficult to see out while doing the manouvers (sorry if thats spelt wrong). I have a old sytle corsa but when it comes to getting a new car then I think it be time to change to a different make unless Vauxhall comes to their senses and change the sytle again.

I am currently using a peugeot 207 Diesel and have found thid to be the best car to use IMO. I have used a Corsa (D Model) and i would agree that it was heavy but once you get used to it was ok!
I would use another 207 again. Thumbs up!!
