The support for this site really has exceeded our expectations - thank you all again. We're currently testing the intended new look of the site. Tuesday 15th April Yesterday we had a record number of visitors to MissCar! Thank you to all who registered as well. Driving Instructors Directory - SORRY, the search facility has developed a bug and will be fixed tonight. Sunday 13th April Well, slowly but surely, things are starting to develop! We've been emailing driving instructors, offering free membership and one year's directory listing and so far a few are taking us up on the offer. If things continue at this rate, it shouldn't be long before the directory fills up! The crossword and quiz are both getting good 'hits' - try them out and see how you do! The Mock Theory Test is still the most popular section so far.. Do click on the Click to Recommend this site, either here or at the top of the page. The more members we get, the better deals we'll be able to negotiate for us all. By our reckoning, nearly one out of two of your adult friends will be able to benefit from MissCar!
Saturday 12th April We've been busy over the last few days re-modelling the site. Hopefully you'll like the changes! A big decision has been to allow driving instructors to register FREE for a year on our instructor database. This really must be a first - FREE advertising! Do tell you instructors about the offer - there's no catch at all - honest! We're working with a few car insurance companies who specialise in female drivers so we can offer cheap car insurance to our members. Wednesday 9th April The more observant amongst you may have noticed the small changes on this home page! There is now a 'Latest Posts' section on the left of the page and a 'Motoring News' section on the right. These sections give links to latest Forum Posts and Motoring News on the MissCar Forums. We try to keep the motoring news relevant to female drivers, the forum post are up to you! The insurance quote form has been simplified as well. Please do join in with the forums, post replies and start new topics (threads).
Tuesday 8th April We are curently comparing motor breakdown companies with a view to choosing one which we can reccommend to our members and visitors. Early indications suggest that we should be able to agree a discount for members with guaranteed special response for female drivers. It may be that we can tailor the package to suit our needs. Tuesday 22nd April Yesterday saw the Driving Instructors Directory swell to over 200 entries. Considering that MissCar has only, so far, been promoted by selective emailing, this is really impressive. Thank you to those who have either emailed us or filled in the 'Contact Us' form. Hopefully, you will have seen changes in the areas you all commented on! The Driving Instructors Directory frontpage has been changed - it had been causing difficulties for some! The Instructors search has been improved and will soon be improved further. Instructors - please mention MissCar to your pupils, Once the site is ready, certainly within 3 weeks, we will be promoting MissCar directly to female drivers.
