Wednesday 7th May

Soaring petrol prices and the proposed changes to the practical driving test are in the news again today. Do take a look at the articles in the forums, and comment!(see Motoring News links in left column)

Our regular visitors will see that the female car insurance logo (above) has changed. Take a look at the close up of MissCar. This is the 'look' of MissCar and will start to appear on other pages.

Tuesday 6th May

A Big Big THANK YOU to all of you who are regularly supporting MissCar.

We have steadily crept up the Google rankings, for certain phrases we are either in the first page or at least in the first 4 or 5!

There has been a huge amount of interest in our female car insurance quoter. This is at present a service to lady drivers - MissCar gets nothing from it! We hope to be able to genuinely find the best insurance company or broker for our members or visitors.

The intention is to reduce the huge amount of time taken in finding the best quote. It should be relatively easy for us to point members in the direction of the most likely best insurance company or insurance broker depending on their requirements and situation. Dedicated female car insurance companies aren't always the best for cheap prices!

So sorry that today's report is So late!

We are in fierce negotiations with car insurance companies to get the best possible prices for our members.

The popularity of MissCar has not gone unnoticed and female drivers are almost a goldmine to car insurance companies!

BUT, we will not be beaten into the ground!

MissCar is determined to only offer impartial advice about products and services.

Too many sites begin with a 'mission', then get drawn in by the lure of profits!

Female driver car insurance is a very lucrative market for many reasons:

• Lady, or female driver insurance payouts tend to be much lower than their male counterparts

• Female, or lady drivers, have fewer serious accidents.

• The female driver car insurance market has become saturated with 'specialist' companies, most of which are actually owned by the big, well known car insurance companies!

• It is well known, that when female drivers are looking for car insurance, they won't be taken in too easily. Female drivers tend to look for the best car insurance deal!

Friday 2nd May

We've added a new menu item today explaining how we hope to be able to help with female driver insurance quotes! There are huge numbers of female car insurance companies out there, but a Google search means you have to visit each one to get a quote!

Also, on the forums, is a new forum 'Female drivers insurance'. The purpose of this forum is to give us all an area in which we can recommend to others where to go for the best insurance quote.

Happy May Day to all our members and visitors!

Plans are afoot to extend MissCar's members' benefits.

Probably the most exciting news is the ongoing negotiations with Insurance companies and brokers so that we can offer very competitive rates for female drivers. Searching for female car insurance in Yahoo or Google just gives you a huge number of sites you can visit.

Specifically - we will be able to offer provisional drivers much lower than normal premiums.

No report from MissCar yesterday!

Although the current improvements are continuing, we are not over-confident that we are moving in exactly the right direction.

Discussions are underway to see if we need to re-think the purposes of MissCar.

The changes and improvements continue...

Not as much has been completed over the weekend as we had hoped.

This is partly because we are determined to get this site the best we can for female drivers!

One new feature is the Insurance quote - we have been approached by a number of insurance companies who specialize in female drivers insurance and are quite happy to pass details on to suitable companies.

Female driver insurance has previously been offered by specialist companies, such as Diamond, Sheils's Wheels and Ladybird, what MissCar intends to do is use its experience to find the best insurance provider for the individual risk. A company who can offer the best female driver insurance policy to somebody with one years bonus will not necessarily be able to compete for a newly passed driver etc.
