Car Insurance Premiums

Car insurance premiums are set to rise, even for female drivers.

More and more insurers are reporting that the extra discounts given to female drivers are seriously affecting profits, or the lack of them!

Female car insurance specialists have traditionlally offered the female driver much lower premiums that to their male counterparts.

Generally, female drivers' accidents are of a much less serious nature than those of males, although statistically, they have more of them. The main problem that seems to have developed and changed the value of the claims is personal injury compensation claims.

A female driver's accident may only result in a relatively low claim for repairs but a large personal injury claim to their insurer from the third party.

So, will female car insurance premiums have to go up? Almost certainly. 

Is cheap female car insurance a thing of the past? Many insurers and brokers disagree, they feel that the female driver is still the better option!
