Breakdown cover is a must these days, espescially for female drivers who wouldn't want to be stranded miles away from help with no cover.

There are a huge range of car breakdown schemes available to lady drivers and they generally fall into one of two categories:

1. Dedicated motor breakdown companies such as The AA and RAC.
2. Companies that use the services of garages local to your point of breakdown, such as Green Flag or First Call Motor Breakdown.

Group 1, are generally well known by most drivers and have been around for a long time.

Group 2 are relatively new, although Green Flag and First Call have been established for many years and are becoming well known and respected names in the motor breakdown service.

Roadside assistance with recovery and Homestart - normall priced from around £75
